About Us and Our Memory Games
Creative Blocks is the result of a journey that began with printed memory games – lovingly illustrated, thoughtfully written, and deeply rooted in Montenegro’s identity.
The first editions were developed by studio ribizla. in 2020, and included the games Butterflies, Birds, and Mammals of Montenegro. These games quickly became popular educational tools for families, schools, and institutions, proving that Montenegro’s nature can be presented in a creative and meaningful way – without relying on screens.
Riding on that success, studio ribizla. and CS Cassiopeia joined forces to develop additional memory games and new cultural formats. Our collaboration expanded through projects like Miraculous Montenegro and the Montenegrin Colouring Book, establishing a shared mission: to create original, culturally relevant tools that blend learning and play. When women collaborate, vision becomes a reality. And so, Creative Blocks was born – a bilingual mobile app that brings our bestselling memory games into the digital world, reaching an even wider audience with the same creative purpose and emotional value.
The Creative Blocks project is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro through the 2024 Co-Financing Programme for Projects of Importance to the Development of Creative Industries.

Creative Blocks is a web and mobile platform featuring a collection of digital memory games that promote Montenegro in a creative, engaging way. The games explore topics such as:

– biodiversity and natural beauty
– social values such as gender equality
All games are bilingual (Montenegrin–English), visually engaging, and suitable for all age groups – ideal for schools, families, travellers, and curious minds alike.
